Twitter says Trump banning was an “editorial decision”

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is coming after Twitter and has asked through legal channels that they release the internal moderation policies that lead to the banning of thousand of Conservative users of the site. Twitter has in turn sued Paxton claiming Texas is restricting its first amendment rights. Its lawyers said this in documentation served in their case-
“Paxton made clear that he will use the full weight of his office, including his expansive investigatory powers, to retaliate against Twitter for having made editorial decisions with which he disagrees.”
Hang on a minute! Isn’t the point of Section 230, (the legislation Twitter and other social media “platforms” operate under, and which saves them from defamation law suits) that they don’t make editorial decisions?
Something is out of whack here. Either Twitter makes editorial decisions or it doesn’t, and if it does, as they seem to have just admitted, then the protection of Section 230 should be removed.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey met with PM Jacinda Ardern in 2019 to plan the censoring of Twitter users in NZ
The truth here, Section 230 or not, is that Twitter and Jack Dorsey are just another group of scumbag commies/liberals with scant regard for views they don’t agree with. If they could, they’d silence us completely, using not only their own corporates but also the force of government. Without a skerrick of conscience. Without turning a hair. The left have always hated free speech, and they’re always trying to shut it down.
Its a simple lesson. Let the left become politically ascendant, and freedom dies. Not only in matters of speech, but in every other social sphere as well. At the core of big govt and big corporate leftism is tyranny and totalitarianism. Learn the lesson well.
