NZ on Air is a conduit to feed taxpayer money to selected left wing cultural and political influencers. It is just one of many organs set up by the left wing politburo over the years to feed their friends and starve their enemies
Labour’s $55m PIJF has halted allocations, but millions of taxpayer dollars are still flowing to the politically corrupt legacy media through other channels.
At the end of last year, NZ on Air handed out a total of $18.7 million to what they term “Non-Fiction Projects”. The amounts in the attached graphic are just the tip of the $18.7 million iceberg, but its more than the money.
So many of the additional programs funded are some kind of “progressive” analysis designed to corrode our culture or attack our history. It is amazing how tolerant we are off this subversion, when so many of us know that influencing politics and culture by means of popular entertainment media has always been a favourite strategy of the left.
If you’re sick of far left radicalism leeching off your hard earned dollars then email the Minister of Broadcasting (Melissa Lee) and tell her you want NZ on Air closed down.
Her email is- Melissa.Lee@parliament.govt.nz
If the country is in as dire financial straits as Ms Willis and Mr Luxon claim, then surely of all things this is one of the most stark examples of where they can make cutbacks.
There is no reason (even in good times) for taxpayers to be funding far left radicals to mislead them by means of atrociously biased propaganda disguised as entertainment or centrist political commentary.
Of course NZ on Air is only one such entity. There are thousands of public institutions that are really just corrupt fronts for feeding taxpayer funds to the left wing political machine. We must work to gradually shut them all down, and deprive the machine of what is so often its main source of fuel- taxpayer’s earnings.

Did you know you can get an $11,000 grant from NZ on Air merely for writing a song?
I discovered this while researching for the above post.
Did not have the time to follow through on it fully, so wonder how it works. Do you go to them and say you have the idea for a song, and then they give you the $11k.
Or do you have to write the song and then submit it to NZOA for approval?
Either way, IMHO its a damn insult to the productive sector who work hard to put food on the table, pay their mortgages and pay their taxes.
So far there have been 37 such payments. ($407,000)

All State media must be sold, even at a loss. They are a constant drain on taxpayers and are a source of vile woke propaganda. Come on Coalition get rid of these faux journo leeches now.

So many of us here – yes. Numerically insignificant, however?
At the coalition announcement and before the lux flake hustled him away, Winnie was doing well.
“You lost! You lost,” he said to the assembled media cronies / subversives / fifth columnists.
I suspect that Winnie is our only hope – even if only a slender one.

Sent Melissa a good email. I hope they look into the enemedia in general. So much is wrong with it it’s hard to know where to start.
