A personal message

Dear friends,

I would like to apologise to all of the subscribers, followers and readers of this blog for my unexplained absence. Sorry. I should have at least had the decency to offer you an explanation. (TBH, I never expected the number of messages on the issue).

Why was I absent? I just needed a break from politics, so I jumped into my boat and went fishing. Didn’t catch a lot of fish, but I enjoyed the peace and quiet and the solitude.

The thing is my friends, New Zealand is so far down the communist tube it is probably past the point of return, and therefore it doesn’t matter what is written here, or anywhere else for that matter. Its becoming harder every day to rationally justify the effort one puts into maintaining a blog like this.

Before I left, I read a comment on another blog that emphasised to me just how lost we are. The commenter told the story of how he had asked a group of a dozen or so girls/ young women how many of them had voted for Jacinda Ardern in 2020. They all raised their hand. He then asked them if they were going to vote for her again in the next election. Once again, they all raised their hand.

Dumbfounded, he asked them “Why?” When Ardern had failed in almost every one of her stated objectives, the country was beset by massive debt and an unprecedented level of crime and violence and was plunging headlong into a state of apartheid, why did they still support her?

The women denied all of this was true, and said any criticism of their Jacinda was only driven by politics and not really credible.

Why do so many women, and men, think this way? Because New Zealand today is in a similar state to California, New York, Venezuela, and every other place on the globe where the left have by their political subterfuges converted what were once pluralist democracies into one party states.

Its not that there are no people in these places who disagree with the left, its more that the left have gradually and purposefully shut down every avenue of political criticism and or dissent that was once open.

As a regular watcher of Mark Levin’s show “Life Liberty and Levin” on FOX news I was struck today at how easily his opening monologue on how the US was being converted into a one party state could be applied to New Zealand. Watch it yourself, (below) and you will see.

Listen carefully to every word, for its an astonishingly accurate description of just how the left have infiltrated the media, academia and so many other components of New Zealand society and weaponised those institutions in their mission to destroy democracy.

Levin attacks the never-Trumpers and RINOS of the Republican party, and its a criticism that can easily be made of the NZ National party and a sad reminder of just how ineffectual they have been in countering the left’s strategies. They seem to have no idea of what the left is doing to this country, or how they are doing it or how to stop them. They don’t have a clue.

While the left have been busy with their long march, the National party has been busy with its long betrayal. (More recently, where is “Demand the Debate”? Where is their opposition to He Puapua? Have they abandoned these strategies in an attempt to change polling numbers?)

While out there trying to hook a fish, it occurred to me that if we are ever to escape the evil of the progressive left, the first step must be the total destruction of the current National Party. We have to stop fooling ourselves they’re a way out of this mess, and face the truth. They’re completely clueless, and they function today not as an opposition but as enablers.

Mark Levin’s US monologue also exposes National as utter frauds. We don’t need their false hopes, their betrayal, and their cowardice and deceit. National in their present form have to be destroyed, and the sooner the better.

Not sure if I’ll keep writing. Give me a few more weeks to think it over. Once again, sorry for the unexplained absence.

Best regards

The Redbaiter

Don’t apologise. We all need some time out from what seems to be a futile fight against inevitable decline – even if that time out has us perturbed, anxious and sometimes feeling more than a little guilty for abandoning the frontline.

But you are so very right about things. It is futile to attack the radical left head on. There’s simply too many norms in the hole now with them, completely indoctrinated and brainwashed by the almost total and encompassing control the Marxists have over all manner of system and infrastructure while those on the ‘right’, the conservatives, are little more than speedbumps for them as the majority, led by a socialist minority, hurtle us all towards that cliff at breakneck speed.

The Nats stop nothing and can control little while they constantly sacrifice and surrender more and more ground on what feels like a daily basis that shifts the Overton Window ever further left. I’m a Kiwi, stuck in rural Victoria, closely watching American politics and wishing there was somewhere on earth still sane enough to escape to.

There are a handful of American political commentators who are urging people to start a grassroots counter-culture revolution at the local level. And it seems to be working because as more voices speak up, others who were worried or outright afraid to be heard are now joining in.

We can’t head on fight the Marxists, and we can’t overnight demolish and reform the Nats, but we can follow the Americans lead and do our thing locally – school boards and committees, local councils, business associations. Even the local sports clubs and our workplaces. We need to carefully and thoughtfully talk to people, rally them with logic and base truths. Chat to those who are able to see reason and scatter redpills subtly. I hate that phrase but Jesus H there are so many clueless and comatose idiots plugged into the Matrix, and even worse than that … here they are by law required to vote.

Was talking to a new coworker the other day, late 60s and double jabbed, still rather based though, believes in two genders and working for a living etc. We were chatting about the crap going on here. He thinks Comrade Dan is doing a fine job. The news came on and I laughed when I heard the speel about 10 police officers hurt in the ‘violent protests’ over the weekend. He got instantly angry thinking I was happy cops got hurt and told me the cops should have used water cannons on the protesters and got in my face and vehemently told me that the protesters had ‘no right to be there’.

I wasn’t laughing about cops being hurt. I was laughing because I was waiting for the news to be all about cops with booboos while there’s with zero mention of people they assaulted and put in hospital. Which of course is exactly how the media has spun it. He wasn’t aware of this of course, because he wasn’t aware anyone but cops got hurt.

Even still, when I asked him if the cops should have used a water-cannon on pensioners instead of just knocking them flat on the ground and pepper-spraying them, he said angrily said yes. So, he’s angry because he thinks I was wanting police hurt – which I don’t and told him so – while he then goes on to wish bodily harm on people, young and old, and rejoices when it happens. During the course of the conversation I quietly pointed out the hypocrisy but he didn’t care. He has previously complained that there’s no point talking to me because I ‘poke holes’ in everything he says and he did so again.

I don’t take his anger personally and I don’t push the conversation because I know he’s not angry at me.
He’s angry because I’m shaking the belief system he has created.
He’s angry because deep down he knows he’s made a mistake.
He’s angry because, even without admitting it to himself yet, he knows what he believes in is wrong, rotten and evil.
    And that’s a good start.

No pressure Red, take as long as you need and do what you have to to keep yourself healthy – mentally and otherwise. You’re not alone.
    Kia kaha brother.

Excellent comment BFM, and its great to know that critical thinking and independent ideas are still to be found out there. You know and I know that we don’t only have to do battle only with a totally corrupted media, but also with the poor gullible fools who accept their partisan BS as truth. Thank you too for your support and comforting words.

Please don’t stop. There is more support out there than you realise. More people heartily sick of what is going on than you think. My daughter is a hair dresser. She tells me the majority of her clients feel the same way we do. Almost everyone I speak to feels the same. I see it on various facebook pages all the time. We’re the silent majority, but we’re here! Just waiting for a vehicle to jump on to show it, like the Howl of Protests. We need to rise up and start a tsunami!

Aamiene- Thank you for your support and sympathy. You’re right, we do need to rise up, except unfortunately rebellion is not something that features in NZ’s nature. However we must all do what we can to bring truth to the fore, and maybe one day there will be a mass awakening. Let’s hope its not too late by then.

Its a cult of personality, something that appeals to impressionable women. If you replaced Jacinda Ardern with Andrew Little, watch the tune change immediately. The best thing that the opposition could hope for would be for Jacinda Ardern to go to the UN. If she doesn’t, she’ll carry through for a record number of terms. She makes Teflon John look like sandpaper.

While i agree with your comments about the direction of NZ ans the lap dob National Party i think the answer is outside the party system. I hope the wheels will fall off the CCP virus will fall off soon as more info comes to light, and possibly with people dying from the shot may wake a few up. Also in India the Bar is taking legal action against Dr Swaminathan, if found guilty she will face the death penalty for stopping the use of Internecine. And other court battle in the process in South America and the USA. I think the CCP virus scam may give us some hope that the covers will be lifted from this world wide scam? keep up the good work but i fully understand how you feel. Easy to understand the sentiments. Eventually, you can’t see the brick wall because of the blood running into your eyes. Will the sleep-walking general population awaken before it’s too late? Back to the Tytler Cycle we go.

Be kind to yourself. Don’t burn yourself out. At least you’re trying when so many are not. Whether because they don’t know what’s going on, or do know but don’t care, or feel impotent, it doesn’t really matter in the end.

All that’s need for the socio-commie evil in NZ to flourish is that the good *DO* nothing.

I feel your pain, having several times thought of backing off my efforts to raise awareness of the apartheid/centralisation by stealth that’s integral to every bit of legislation going through, but is never mentioned in the mass media. It’s certainly not good for the blood pressure! Towards the end of last week’s podcast, Leighton Smith was asked about how he handled those who simply couldn’t/wouldn’t see what was happening. His advice was to just keep quietly, politely putting the facts out there – but never, ever to get angry or attack the person you’re talking to. Certainly, Jacinda has won over so many women (which appalls me) and the elderly (who only watch TV news or read the daily propaganda newspaper) with her persona of “kindness” (even if we know she’s the wolf in sheep’s clothing). Here’s to maintaining our energy and our peace of mind while trying to return NZ to a democracy where need not greed is taken care, and there’s opportunity for all to live a fulfilling life.

So many of us feel as you do, Red, it becomes about self-preservation. You do great work (thank you!) and I have frequently felt the passion and frustration you have for NZ’S future as a free nation, through your words. Finding truth on the Web is more and more challenging because EVERYTHING is so politicized, however you will continue its pursuit, like all of us who see what’s really happening. Leightons advice is sound, and all we can do is remain true to ourselves, even at the expense of friends and family, which I have experienced. Supporting movements such as Groundswell (thank God for them!) can only but help expose this commie lot for what they really are. As for wuflu and vaccines, that can of worms is so big it’s almost impossible to comprehend. God Defend New Zealand.

Rowen- thank you for the kind words and support. I agree that things are a little dispiriting at the moment, but all is not lost. There are young people coming through who are different from those produced in the socialist sausages factories that make up our education system. I have met them, and they give me hope. I am also so very grateful for those women who are not part of the Jacinda Fan club and still capable of thinking for themselves. Even though they may be a minority at present, there are still more of them than we realise, and every one of these women is worth a dozen Jacinda drones.

This “We’re in this together” collectivist mantra of the Covid Cult is political gold, as far as winning the women’s vote. It’s a lock when combined with a weak opposition and an impenetrable media fog. But I state the obvious.

    Red,
I have also been thinking it isn’t healthy to focus too much energy in the current political space. I give it up for a couple of days then the next bizarre happening takes place that causes me to check into places like this to see if anyone else noticed what just happened.
The Government is doing a lot of things by stealth and assisted by the media but there will come a time when it will be obvious. The wheels are starting to come off 3 Waters takeover and a lot of people are concerned. If the Government ram that through I think there will be considerable protest and Ardern will back down like she always does. What I really struggle with is how corrupt many of our journalists are. In many countries journalists risk their lives to speak truth to power but here it is the complete opposite. For some reason I watch TV One News out of habit and see the daily hammering they give Judith Collins. How do those reporters sleep at night knowing their job is to manipulate this country on behalf of the Government.
